Understanding your hormone health can feel overwhelming, especially with the number of testing options available in the UK – each with its own pricing and promises. At Omniya, we’ve seen the impact of poor‐quality testing for Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) firsthand, which is why we’ve created our “Low Testosterone Screening” with The Doctor’s Laboratory, the UK’s largest independent laboratory, and one of the largest in Europe.
This service is our answer to the surge in inferior laboratories, ensuring you receive high‐quality, accurate, and reliable tests to assess whether you have low testosterone.
Book an appointment at our Knightsbridge clinic to meet with your doctor in person. If you already have recent blood test results, bring them along. If additional tests are needed, these can be done during your visit – our medical team will let you know in advance if fasting is required.
Once your results are back, you’ll have a review appointment (remote or in-clinic) with your doctor to go through the findings, discuss your options, and, if suitable, begin treatment with a personalised prescription.
If you’d prefer to start with a quick discussion, you can book a short online consultation with Dr Aman. It’s a straightforward way to talk through your symptoms, explore whether TRT could be right for you, and plan your next steps – all from the comfort of home.
A comprehensive hormone panel may be required to confirm suitability and ensure treatment safety before starting TRT. The cost of this panel is from £350.
If you’re transferring from another clinic, we aim to make your transition as smooth as possible. We welcome the opportunity to review your previous blood test results—provided these tests were carried out within the last 6–12 months by a reliable and reputable source. This could mean fewer appointments and less redundancy in testing, saving you both time and costs. Please ensure that all previous test results are accompanied by comprehensive documentation from your former provider.
Do you already have blood test results from the NHS or another trusted private practice? If your tests are no more than 6–12 months old, they might count as part of our evaluation process. For example, if you have recent testosterone results, we may be able to use them as the first of the two tests typically required. This helps streamline your care and minimises the need for duplicate testing. However, it is essential that the tests were conducted by reputable labs to ensure accuracy. If there’s any doubt about the reliability of the results, we may recommend retesting.
The British Society of Sexual Medicine (BSSM) states you need two blood tests to confirm your testosterone level is low enough for treatment. A testosterone level less than 12 nmol/L (and up to 15 nmol/L in certain circumstances) is considered for TRT.
Our screening package focuses on two key tests – Total Testosterone and Free Testosterone – giving you and us a clear picture of your testosterone levels.

Our panels were created to give your doctor a complete snapshot of your overall health, hormonal balance, and potential risk factors before and during TRT. For TRT, the TRT Essential Panel is commonly the panel we recommend. For more comprehensive tests, see below:
If you’re experiencing symptoms like fatigue, low libido, or mood changes, you’ll want a simple, trustworthy way to check your testosterone levels. That’s why we have partnered with The Doctors Laboratory (TDL), the UK’s largest and one of the world’s most respected laboratories.
What This Means for You:
Many men experience fatigue, reduced libido, diminished muscle mass, or mood changes and wonder whether low testosterone might be the underlying cause. By offering these targeted tests, we provide you with a preliminary overview of your testosterone balance, helping you decide if further investigation is warranted. This initial screening is particularly valuable if you’re not yet ready to embark on a full clinical consultation and comprehensive panel of tests. It serves as your starting point—a quick, accessible way to see if low testosterone might be affecting you. Once you have these results, you can have a more informed discussion with our doctors about your symptoms and the next steps in your care.
At Omniya Clinic, our comprehensive approach – from the initial screening through detailed laboratory panels – ensures that every aspect of your hormonal health is evaluated. This meticulous process forms the foundation of our safe, effective, and personalised TRT programme.
