HydraTite: Skin Tightening Facial

at Omniya Clinic in London

Hydrating and Tightening Facial

HydraTite combines two treatments in one appointment at our Knightsbridge clinic.

We start with a full Hydrafacial to deeply cleanse and refresh the skin, while delivering a boost of hydrating serums and antioxidants. This is followed by non invasive radiofrequency, which gently heats the deeper layers of the skin to encourage collagen and elastin production.

You’ll notice the first results straight away; your skin will look fresher, clearer, more hydrated and smoother when you leave the clinic. The firming effects from the radiofrequency develop more gradually, with the cheeks and jawline becoming more defined over the following weeks as new collagen is produced.

Allow around 90 minutes for your appointment. Treatments start from £320, with no planned downtime.

Hydration now, firmness over time

HydraTite may be suitable if you’ve started to notice a softer jawline, less definition in your cheekbones, or fine lines becoming more visible even when your face is relaxed. These changes can also be accompanied by skin that feels dry or dehydrated.

The Hydrafacial gives you the more immediate part of the treatment. It cleanses the pores, removes dull surface cells and replenishes the skin with hydration, leaving it looking fresher, smoother and more radiant. Fine lines can also appear softer when the skin is properly hydrated.

The non invasive radiofrequency component of the treatment works more gradually. By gently heating the deeper layers of the skin, it encourages collagen production, with firmness developing over the weeks that follow.

We’ll always be honest about what HydraTite can and can’t do. It’s designed to improve skin quality and support early signs of laxity, rather than lift or reposition tissue. Radiofrequency is not a replacement for a surgical facelift, and we’ll talk through what you can realistically expect during your consultation before you decide whether it’s right for you.

Why the two stages sit together

Each stage works at a different depth. The HydraFacial treats the surface, where dull cells, congestion and dehydration affect how your skin looks and feels. Its patented Vortex-Fusion system lifts impurities away, then infuses hydrating serums and antioxidants.

Radiofrequency reaches lower, into the dermis, where collagen and elastin give skin its structure. Controlled thermal energy creates a gentle heat in that layer. The response takes weeks, and firmness improves across the period in which new tissue forms.

The HydraFacial comes first, so the radiofrequency handpiece is applied to skin that has already been cleansed, exfoliated and thoroughly hydrated.

Your appointment

We begin by looking at what has changed in your skin, what you would like to improve and whether anything in your medical history affects treatment. That includes medication and recent treatments. Skin that is mainly congested needs a different balance of attention from skin where firmness is the priority.

Tell us about previous reactions, particularly if your skin is sensitive. Settings and serums can be adjusted once we understand how your skin tends to behave.

The HydraFacial comes next. You will feel the gentle suction of the handpiece passing over your skin, followed by the cool application of hydrating serums. This stage is comfortable and should not be painful.

Radiofrequency follows on skin that is clean and hydrated. Your aesthetician keeps the handpiece moving so warmth builds gradually and evenly across the area. Most patients describe comfortable heat with a light tingle. Your practitioner monitors the temperature of each area as they work and checks in with you throughout. If anywhere feels too warm, the settings can be lowered straight away.

Allow from 90 minutes, or a little longer for Luxe. Any mild flush usually fades within an hour or two. There is no planned downtime, so you can return to work the same day.

The HydraTite Luxe appointment

Luxe is the same clinical treatment with more time built into the appointment. A bespoke mask is applied and left to work while your aesthetician carries out a facial and shoulder massage, which encourages relaxation, supports blood circulation and helps ease tension around the jaw and shoulders.

It costs £40 more as a single session.

Is HydraTite right for you?

Radiofrequency is used across all skin types and tones, because the energy heats the deeper layers rather than targeting pigment at the surface. Collagen levels start to decline from around the mid twenties, and HydraTite is generally most useful for early laxity where hydration and texture also need attention.

However, depending on our assessment of your skin the recommendation may change. If congestion and breakouts concern you more than firmness, our OmniClear acne facial is the better choice. For radiance and deep hydration without the tightening stage, HydrOxy or our oxygen facial may suit you. If mild to moderate laxity is your main concern we may recommend XERF.

We are happy to compare them with you at consultation.

Results and maintenance

A course is usually three to six sessions, spaced two to four weeks apart, with the number agreed once we have assessed your skin. Hydration and smoothness are apparent from the first appointment. Firmness often becomes visible from around a month, and continues to improve while the course runs.

Results can last six months or more, with maintenance every two to three months to sustain firmness and elasticity. How long your own result lasts depends on your skin, your age and your lifestyle. Collagen continues to decline naturally. HydraTite is therefore planned as maintenance treatment rather than a permanent correction of laxity.

Before and after your treatment

A few simple steps beforehand help your skin get the most from the appointment:

  • Avoid strong sun in the days before treatment.
  • Pause skin irritants such as retinoids and exfoliating acids for a few days. If your retinoid is prescribed, speak to your prescriber before changing anything.
  • Drink plenty of water in the run up to your appointment.
  • Tell us about any recent treatment, including laser, peels or waxing.

Afterwards, keep your skin well hydrated, protect it from the sun and follow the advice your aesthetician gives you on the day. There is no planned downtime, although temporary redness or sensitivity can occur and usually settles within a few hours.

Your comfort and safety

Radiofrequency is generally well tolerated. Mild warmth, temporary redness or slight sensitivity immediately afterwards are the common effects. Less commonly, energy based treatments can cause blistering, burns or changes in skin pigmentation, which is why treatment is delivered by trained practitioners using controlled settings with your comfort monitored throughout.

Please tell us about your medical history, any medication you take, recent treatments including laser and peels, and any implanted medical device, as an implanted device affects whether energy based treatment can go ahead or needs adapting. Where skin is inflamed, or there is an active infection in the area, we will postpone treatment and advise you on appropriate care first.

Choosing between our tightening treatments

Our standalone radiofrequency treatment uses Forma by InMode and is priced by area, from £200. It is the right option where tightening alone is what you need. OmniSculpt pairs radiofrequency with facial massage for a lifted, sculpted finish, without the HydraFacial stage.

Morpheus8 delivers radiofrequency below the surface through fine needles. It involves a recovery period and is considered for more established laxity, scarring and textural concerns.

XERF is an advanced radiofrequency (RF) skin tightening treatment designed to lift, firm and refine the skin from within. It is suitable for anyone with mild to moderate laxity. Using dual-frequency monopolar RF with no downtime, it delivers controlled heat across multiple depths of the skin to support collagen remodelling and improve firmness over time.

A more intensive treatment is not automatically the more suitable one. The choice should follow from what we see in your skin, and if you would like that assessment first, our skin analysis is a good starting point.

Is Profhilo Safe? Profhilo has one of the strongest safety profiles of any injectable treatment. It is pure hyaluronic acid with no chemical cross-linking agents (BDDE-free), which is why reactions are rare and there is no risk of the migration or lumpiness sometimes associated with dermal fillers. What is normal: small raised bumps at the injection points, which settle within 24 hours, and occasionally minor bruising or tenderness for a day or two. What is rare: allergic reaction or infection at the injection site. Searches for "Profhilo gone wrong" almost always trace back to poor injector technique or counterfeit product — not the product itself. At Omniya, Profhilo is administered only by GMC- and GDC-registered doctors and our lead aesthetic nurse, using genuine IBSA product, in a CQC-registered clinic. If anything about your result concerns you after treatment, you will be reviewed by a doctor, not a booking line.

HydraTite FAQs

Does HydraTite hurt?

The HydraFacial stage is generally comfortable. The radiofrequency stage produces warmth with a light tingle and is generally not painful. If an area feels too warm, tell your practitioner and the settings will be adjusted.

Can HydraTite remove skin laxity permanently?

No. Results vary from person to person, and maintenance sessions every two to three months may be recommended to help sustain firmness and elasticity.

How soon before an event should I book?

There is no planned downtime, so an appointment in the days before an event usually works well, allowing for transient redness. Before a first HydraTite, allow more time so you already know how your skin responds.

Can I combine HydraTite with other treatments?

Yes. It can be planned alongside microneedling or laser for further tightening and rejuvenation, with the spacing arranged so that no area is overtreated.

What is the difference between HydraTite and HydraTite Luxe?

The cleansing and radiofrequency stages are identical. Luxe adds a facial and shoulder massage carried out while a bespoke mask works on your skin, for £40 more as a single session.

How should I prepare for a HydraTite treatment session?

Preparation is minimal. You should avoid sun exposure and refrain from using skin irritants such as retinoids or exfoliants for a few days before the treatment. Additionally, it is important to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and to avoid diuretics prior to the treatment. Following these guidelines will help ensure your skin is in the best condition for the procedure.

Are HydraTite treatments effective for all skin types?

Radiofrequency is used across skin types and tones because it heats deeper layers rather than surface pigment. Your suitability is confirmed at assessment.

What other RF treatments does Omniya offer?

Omniya offers a variety of RF treatments, including Morpheus8, Individual Radiofrequency treatment, and OmniSculpt (which combines Radiofrequency with facial massage), to address various skin concerns.

Can HydraTite improve skin texture and tone?

HydraTite enhances skin texture and tone by deeply cleansing, exfoliating, and stimulating the dermal layer for smoother, more even skin, thanks to Hydrafacial. However, if your main concern is improving skin texture and tone, we recommend booking a free consultation with our skin specialist to find out the best Hydrafacial treatments that are right for you.

What other Hydrafacials does Omniya Clinic offer?

Omniya Clinic offers a range of Hydrafacial treatments tailored to different skin needs and concerns. For more information, view here: Omniya Hydrafacial Treatments.
