Dr Aman Chungh is an highly regarded and experienced men’s health doctor, with his practice encompassing the full scope of general practice. He has treated many patients over a number of years, and this experience combined with a holistic overview of health and wellbeing is what has forged him an exemplary reputation amongst his patients and in the field of men’s health.
For a little over a decade practising as a medical doctor Dr Chungh has combined his learnings from his work at the cutting edge of medicine, surgery and general practice. It is this rounded experience that is at the heart of his approach, and has been invaluable in honing his diagnositc and therapeutic skills.
Initially drawn to medicine because of it’s application of scientific principles, as well its human and social factors, he trained at the University Of Southampton, gaining a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree in 2014, with a prior upper 1st class Bachelor of Science degree and a Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree. This longstanding interest in science continues to keep Dr Chungh abreast of the latest developments and research in his fields of interest.
He is an advocate for the breaking down of traditional barriers to care, preferring to be known by his first name “Aman”. He believes that patient engagement in the devision of a treatment plan is key and the traditional doctor – patient model risks being more paternalistic rather than collaborative. Dr Chungh’s approach starts with a thorough assessment of his patients that includes a full history focussed on both medical and lifestyle factors as well as a thorough physical examination.
He treats his patients with the most appropriate but least invasive options, which can range from lifestyle changes through to natural remedies and medicines. His diagnostic and therapeutic approaches are rooted in the values of listening and empathy. Dr Chungh treats every patient the way that he would want his friends, family and himself treated; developing treatment plans around the individual’s needs
