Note: as a general rule, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should not be having Botox treatment.

You will also be advised of any specific precautions. For example, alcoholic beverages should not be consumed 24 hours before the treatment, and blood-thinning and anti-inflammatory drugs such as aspirin and ibuprofen should not be taken prior to your appointment.

They may also ask you to remove your make up and other facial products prior to the treatment and may cleanse your skin.
