Welcome to Omniya Clinic’s guide to your OmniSculpt treatment. Below, you will find comprehensive contraindications, pre-care and post-care information for your treatment. If you have any questions, please contact our reception team who will be happy to assist you.
Medical History
If it is your first time seeing an aesthetician at Omniya Clinic please click here to fill out your Medical History Form in advance of your appointment.

Upon making an appointment, an account will be created for you. Please select 'Yes, I've already got a profile!' and then 'recover password' and you will receive an email to set a new password - please check your Spam/Junk folder.
Please note: If there are any medical changes or if you have been taking any new medication since the last time you visited us, please inform us before you attend the clinic to ensure you are still suitable to have the treatment.
Contraindications
This treatment is contraindicated if you are or have:
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
- Pacemakers
- Metallic prosthesis & implants in the area
- History of any form of cancer (GP/ Consultant’s letter to conform it is fine to treat; must be in remission for 12 months)
- Lymphatic or Immune System disorders/ Autoimmune disorders
- Vascular disease
- History of keloid scarring
- Surgery or ablative lasers in the last 6 months
- Recent scar tissue (Wait till fully healed)
- Skin infections/broken skin in this area including herpes or warts
- Roaccutane (Wait 6 months)
- Rosacea, severe thread veins or melasma
- Chemical Peels (variable wait-time depending on strength of peel)
- Botox and injectable fillers (avoid area for 2 weeks)
- Permanent fillers (e.g: silicone), avoid area completely
- Caution with clients with diabetes (Type 1 & 2) or high blood pressure
- Cystic acne
- Photosensitising medication (contraindicates you for the LED)
Pre Treatment Advice
Please:
- Avoid alcohol and caffeine or other diuretic substances and drink plenty of water 24 hours before your appointment; we are targeting the water within your skin so the more hydrated you are, the better the results will be
- Avoid exfoliating acids the night before and on the day of your appointment
- Avoid retinol 3 days before your treatment and avoid retinoids 2 weeks before
- Perform hair removal 1 week before if you need to
Post Treatment Instructions & Expectations
- The treated area can be slightly pink after the treatment and this may last for a few hours. It will also feel warm to the touch during this time.
- A high protection sunscreen should be used after treatments and sun exposure should be avoided for 2 weeks post-treatment. Apply SPF daily
- Immediately after treatment, contraction of your collagen fibres improve the skin’s elasticity and so your skin will appear firmer. This can be temporary as the production of new collagen takes time, and best results are seen after your course of treatments (continuing for 3 to 6 months after the end of your course).
- Blistering is very rare, but can occur. If this happens to you, please contact the clinic for further advice.
- Keep yourself hydrated, avoid diuretic drinks (coffee, alcohol) for the next 24-48 hours
- Avoid other exfoliating products for at least 3 days
- Use calming prods until skin has healed
- Avoid heat exposure for the next 3 days
- Avoid wearing makeup on the day
Cancellations
If you need to rearrange or cancel your appointment for any reason, we operate with a 48 hour cancellation policy, therefore we kindly ask you to inform us within 2 working days if you are unable to attend your appointment.
