Dr Nora qualified from the Royal Free and University College London medical school in 2006. She went on to complete her postgraduate GP training at the Chelsea and Westminster hospital in London in 2011, and continues to work as a GP as well as her role as a hormone specialist.
Nora’s main interests lie in the role of nutrition and lifestyle in health, alongside conventional evidence-based medicine. She has trained in functional medicine at the Institute of Functional Medicine in the USA and has done Lifestyle Medicine courses at Harvard University amongst others. She has also trained in Health Coaching and believes in working with her patients to identify their individual needs and create sustainable, holistic plans with them to optimise their wellbeing.
In 2016 Nora worked for two years in Toronto, Canada, in a clinic that specialized in sexual health and infectious diseases. She holds a diploma in Family Planning and Reproductive Health.
She is passionate about humanitarian health and has worked in Greece with Medecins sans Frontieres as well as volunteering in refugee camps in Lebanon. In her work as a GP, Nora has enjoyed treating patients at various stages in their lives. Her experience has led her to develop a particular interest in women’s health, and the role of hormonal balance in healthy aging and overall wellbeing. She has undertaken training in bioidentical hormones by Neill Roussier and worked at the London Hormone Clinic. Nora finds seeing the positive changes of treatment to her patients’ lives incredibly rewarding. She encourages her patients to understand and be fully engaged in their journey, and empower them to make the best decisions for their health.
