Editorial Policy

Omniya Clinic publishes health, aesthetic, wellness and treatment information to help patients understand their options before speaking with a qualified clinician. Our content is written and reviewed to be clear, balanced and clinically responsible. It is not a substitute for a personal medical consultation, diagnosis or treatment plan.

Who Creates Our Content

Clinical content is written, reviewed or approved by appropriately qualified members of the Omniya team. Where a page covers medical assessment, prescribing, diagnosis, hormone therapy, blood testing, injectable treatment, laser treatment, skin health or wellness treatment, we aim to identify the author and reviewer on the page.

Author and reviewer bylines should include the person’s role, professional registration where relevant, and a link to their Omniya profile page.

Medical Review

Pages that contain clinical, medical, prescribing or treatment-planning information are reviewed by a suitably qualified clinician or healthcare professional before publication and at least annually after publication.

Our clinical review process is described in more detail in the Clinical Peer Review Policy:

Medical review checks include:

  • whether the content is clinically accurate and proportionate;
  • whether risks, limitations and alternatives are explained fairly;
  • whether claims are supported by reputable evidence or appropriate clinical experience;
  • whether treatment suitability is presented as individual and consultation-led;
  • whether pricing and appointment information matches the current page;
  • whether professional titles and regulatory registrations are accurate.

Where a page has both clinical and medicines-safety implications, it may be reviewed by more than one professional, for example a doctor and a pharmacist.

Evidence Standards

We prioritise reputable sources, including peer-reviewed medical literature, UK regulator guidance, NHS resources, professional bodies, medicine safety information and manufacturer documentation where relevant.

Not every page needs academic references. Pages that make specific medical claims, discuss diagnosis or treatment planning, compare treatment options, or explain risks should include evidence or clear clinical review.

Corrections Policy

If we identify an error, outdated statement or unclear claim, we aim to correct it promptly. Material clinical corrections should be reviewed by an appropriate clinician before publication. Where a correction changes the meaning of medical advice, risk information, price, practitioner attribution or treatment suitability, the page should be updated with a new modified date and, where appropriate, a new review date.

Patients and readers can report possible errors by contacting Omniya Clinic at [email protected].

Independence And Ethics

Omniya Clinic content is produced to support patient understanding and informed decision-making. Commercial services may be described on the site, but clinical content should not promise outcomes, minimise risks, or suggest that a treatment is suitable without assessment.

Where content discusses a treatment offered by Omniya, the page should make clear that suitability depends on consultation, medical history, examination where relevant, and clinician judgement.

Review Cycle

Clinical content should be reviewed at least once every 12 months, or sooner if there is a material change in:

clinical guidance;
product availability;
treatment protocol;
pricing;
professional regulation;
named author or reviewer;
safety information.

Each reviewed page should show a visible author, reviewer, publication date where available, last reviewed date and next review date.
