A Guide To Botox And Dermal Fillers At Omniya Clinic London
16 December 2021 by Omniya ClinicIt’s the most wonderful time of the year, and everyone’s getting ready for the big events, the once-a-year family gatherings, the Christmas parties.
Unfortunately, the conditions for feeling (and looking) your best aren’t exactly optimal. The hectic schedules. The wind, rain, and darkness.
If you feel like you need a little touch of something extra to get yourself all a glow, here at Omniya we have some amazing cosmetic skincare treatments that’ll quickly have you looking beautifully unravished by the coldest and cruellest of seasons.
Botox And Dermal Fillers
Our Botox and dermal filler treatments are second to none. We’re lucky enough to have one of the most wonderful aesthetic doctors in the world practicing at Omniya, the renowned Dr Jules Nabet. Dr Nabet has clinics in both Paris and London, where he has practiced his art for more than 20 years.
Botox
Botox is an injection which blocks nerve signals to the muscles. This stops habitual muscle contractions, like frowning, and allows the skin and underlying muscles to remain in a relaxed state. This relaxed state smooths out wrinkles, and softens skin.
Receiving Botox treatment in the colder months has the additional advantage of a potentially longer life span for your treatment. Lower body temperatures and better hydration levels mean that the Botox isn’t metabolised as quickly, and will remain active in the injection site for longer. Botox treatments generally last between three and four months.
How Long Does Botox Take To Work?
You can usually see the effects of Botox after three or four days, with the treatment taking full effect after 10-14 days.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are also an injection-based treatment – however, dermal fillers work in a very different way to Botox. An injectable dermal filler uses a combination of collagen-growth-promoting compounds and minerals to add volume to problem areas, ‘plumping out’ sags or wrinkles to rejuvenate your appearance.
Dermal fillers can be used across multiple areas of the body, including the forehead, lips, nose, cheeks and chin. A dermal filler treatment can last between nine and twelve months, depending on the area treated and the amount of filler used.
How Long Does It Take To See Results From Dermal Fillers?
The results of the dermal filler are immediately noticeable. The filler will continue to soften and settle into the injection site for at least another two weeks, with the optimum visible results occurring after two to four weeks. It’s important to remain well-hydrated throughout this settling period, in order to facilitate the process.
How Much Do These Treatments Cost At Omniya?
Our Botox treatments cost between £200 and £500, while our dermal filler treatments cost between £300 and £750. The price is dependent on the area treated, as well as the individual practitioner commissioned for the work.
You can easily combine dermal filler treatment with Botox for maximum results. Get in touch with our London clinic today for a consultation.
