All non-invasive procedures carry a small amount of risk, which is why we only administer them after a face to face consultation, during which a full assessment will be carried out and detailed cautions and contraindications are discussed. However, by nature they are a safe procedure and a leading option to restore and restructure facial volume. Please ask your practitioner for more information.
Risk is minimal compared to invasive surgical treatments, which require cosmetic or plastic surgery. However, it is not uncommon to experience minor side effects, as dermal fillers are injection based treatment and pierce the facial skin direct.
A side effect can be very light bruising. Lasting up to three days, medically this bruising process simply occurs as healthy bloodstream works to instantly treat the broken skin tissue and live wound – the process induced via the needle injecting point. This is temporary and lasts normally anything from 3 days up to a week. It should be noted that other interference issues may also provoke bruising including medications, lifestyle and alcohol. Swelling and redness may also appear. Normally, side effects only lasts a few days.
During your consultation, your practitioner will be able to discuss and advise on the best and alternative options for your individual goals.
To begin, your medical history will be discussed at your initial consultation. Your practitioner will assess and discuss which areas are most appropriate to treat. The treatment will be explained in depth at the consultation. If you would like to proceed, we will go through the consent process, photographs will be taken, and the treatment will commence.
This cosmetic treatment involves the injection of gel, typically made up of hyaluronic acid (HA), that fill wrinkles, whilst adding volume to tissue.
Our experts offer filler treatments to complement the appearance of different parts of your face. Some are:
The most important aspect of your treatment, in conjunction with the products, is the practitioner carrying out your treatment. At Omniya, we only work with medically trained, experienced and skilled medical practitioners. Our doctors have worked in some of the leading clinics on Harley Street, London, before joining us at Omniya Clinic. Harley Street is now on your doorstep in Knightsbridge.
The effects of fillers and enhancement are immediate, but you may experience a small amount of downtime. Full results are expected after a couple of weeks.
Our practitioners are cosmetic artists who use the existing and natural contours of your face to guide their treatment.
The treated area may swell, and in some cases, bruising may appear. This should subside after a few days. We encourage you to contact us if you experience symptoms and require further assistance.
The fillers that are used at Omniya Clinic are reversible, and can be adjusted or removed, if you are having second thoughts. We would advise that you consider the treatment first, and not to take the decision lightly. Removing or dissolving filler with hyaluronidase gives the opportunity for avoidable complications.
If you would like to find out more information on any of our treatments, please call us on 020 7584 4777.
Yes absolutely. As well as hosting a wide range of cosmetic skincare, our expert doctor led team of GMC registered dermatologists, surgeons, dermatologists, doctors, as well as our skin specialist aestheticians will do their best to assist you on a bespoke skincare regime.
There are a variety of treatments on offer at Omniya Clinic London for your internal and external health and wellbeing. At your appointment, you can notify your treating practitioner of issues you would like to address and they will guide you on the best and most suitable clinician for you.
Dermal fillers, unlike surgical procedures, face lifts, or implants for example, require no incisions, cuts or stitches.
You may feel slight discomfort from the procedure, but your clinician will go as slowly as you require, and help you to feel relaxed throughout. Treatments typically take between 20-30 minutes, and can be described as a tiny scratch as it is administered. You may feel a minimal stinging as the filler is administered. If you are feeling particularly concerned, you do not have to have the treatment, but if you do, we can use local anaesthetic to numb the area.
At Omniya Clinic London, we only offer temporary fillers. The primary reason for this is that the long term risks are yet unknown for permanent fillers.
During your consultation, we will advise you on the best treatments and products to use at home.
