Introduction
Welcome to Omniya Clinic’s guide to your Prohilo or Profhilo Structura treatment. Below, you will find comprehensive contraindications, pre-care and post-care information for your treatment. If you have any questions, please contact our reception team who will be happy to assist you.
Medical History
If it is your first time seeing your practitioner at Omniya Clinic please click here to fill out your Medical History Form in advance of your appointment.
Instructions:
Upon making an appointment, an account will be created for you. Please select 'Yes, I've already got a profile!' and then 'recover password' and you will receive an email to set a new password - please check your Spam/Junk folder.
Please note: If there are any medical changes or if you have been taking any new medication since the last time you visited us, please inform us before you attend the clinic to ensure you are still suitable to have the treatment.
Contraindications
This treatment is contraindicated if you have or are:
- Active Infection/Inflammation: Any active skin infection or inflammation in the area intended for treatment.
- Allergy: Known hypersensitivity or allergy to hyaluronic acid or any other components of the product.
- Autoimmune/Inflammatory Conditions: Active inflammatory or autoimmune skin disorders in the treatment area.
- Pregnant/Breastfeeding: Typically contraindicated or used with caution during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Systemic Conditions: Unstable or uncontrolled systemic conditions that might affect healing or increase the risk of complications.
Pre Treatment Advice
Please:
- Avoid wearing makeup on the day of treatment
- Arrive with a clean, well-prepared face
- Avoid strenuous activities immediately before treatment
Post Treatment Instructions & Expectations
You can have Profhilo treatment and continue with your day to day activities. However, we do advise that you avoid wearing makeup, or touching your face after treatment. This will help to reduce the risk of any potential infection.
After the treatment, it is recommended to avoid physical strain and sports for 24 hours. Please also avoid having further cosmetic procedures for 48 hours. It is not recommended to have sauna or steamy bath for the first few days either. It’s best to stay out of the sun if any bruising or prolonged swelling occurs.
When to Contact Us
Important: In Case of Side Effects or Concerns
If you experience any unexpected side effects or notice any changes that concern you, please contact the clinic immediately. In particular, any skin colour changes, such as an area of skin becoming purple or red, or bruising which appears abnormal:
