Amalia is recognised as one of the UK’s leading bio-identical hormone replacement therapy specialists.
She studied medicine at University College London, where she gained her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree. She then pursued her interest in Primary Health care, and undertook a Bachelor of Science degree in Primary Healthcare.
Amalia then worked as a hospital doctor for two years in Addenbrooke’s hospital in Cambridge and Suffolk before moving to Bristol to complete her Specialist General Practitioner training and obtaining her membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
With a particular interest in Women’s health, Amalia completed her diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2011 and then she proceeded to complete her Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare in 2012. During her years working as a female GP, she developed her interest in managing various hormonal conditions.
Amalia then went on to complete specialist bio-identical hormone therapy training with Dr Marion Gluck and attends a yearly BHRT training programme with the world-renowned Dr Neil Rouzier in USA to continue to develop her knowledge to give her patients the best possible care.
With her unrivalled clinical expertise, Amalia combines a more holistic approach to hormone health with good nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle management. As part of any prescribed medical treatment plan, emotional and physical lifestyle factors are always taken into account in accordance with the individual’s needs.
